7 – Who Am I?
10 Points – I am a TV
presenter and author was born in 1972 in Greater London to Irish
parents from Limerick. My middle names are Anthony and Patrick.
8 Points – I am
mainly known for being a comedian.
6 Points – In 2007, I
obtained the world record for being the first comedian in cyberspace,
after my show I did on Second Life.
4 Points – I am well
known for my deadpan, satirical and often very dark humour. I have
presented many 100s programmes for Channel 4 (eg ‘100 Greatest
Cartoon Characters’)
2 Points – I host the
quiz show ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’, other TV work includes ‘The Big
Fat Quiz of the Year’ and ‘Distraction’ as well as my live
DVD’s.
Note to
quizmaster – Who am I? should be the last round played
after the final sub-totals have been announced. This round gives
every team the opportunity to win 10 points at the end, and to maybe
snatch the top prize at the death. Each team has only one
opportunity to hand an answer in, getting the relevant number of
points for a correct answer, but zero points for an incorrect answer.
Each team should only get one go, with the correct answer not
announced until every team has handed their sheet in.

Questions
How high in metres
is Mont Blanc, the highest point in the Alps?
What was the
estimated population of Eritrea in July 2005?
Note to
quizmaster – A Jackpot round at the end of the quiz is
usually a great way to keep people coming back week after week. You
should usually charge per individual entry with a special prize for
the winner. You can split the prize for more than one winner, you
can award the prize to the nearest answer (if the question is looking
for a year or number), or you can allow a rollover into the following
week if nobody is correct.
